Prostate check

Having become somewhat of an artist at this copulation,

I began to feel something a little more from ejaculation,

So off to the doctor to check out my right ball,

And told him of my ache and worried would it end it all,

Jump up on the table he said with a smile,

We’ll see what we find it could be error and trial,

It’s tender and sore I said when I push and I shove,

Will this forever be an end to my making love?

Come back in the morning and we’ll operate,

Just one more test and everything will be straight,

Lift your right knee for I must perform 1 more test,

His finger went in and I jumped naked apart from my vest,

I swung round my arm and I connected with his jaw,

His finger inside me was all that I saw,

Who do you think you are you mad perve,

I shouted at him whose job it was to serve,

The police he called as I lashed out in my rage,

And to Romford nick I was shoved into a cage,

Dressed in a gown with no clothes to my name,

In a cell with all sorts I was worried and shamed,

With my ass to the wall as the night came and went,

Next morning up to the magistrate court I was sent,

Oh what have we hear all dressed for the thrill,

This man is before you for a doctor he tried to kill,

The doctor in question has a jaw which is broken,

The magistrate smiled and was softly spoken,

Explain your reasoning so we all understand,

Why you hit this poor doctor with the heel of your hand,

He put me on a bed in his office and while I lingered,

With my knee on my chest I was without warning, fingered,

Sure in the papers each week there’s some doctor or priest,

Sent to jail for doing things with fingers that are not greased,

And without warning he shoves his finger right up my ass,

I’m sorry your worship but on that I must pass,

Here I was worried about my aches and my pain,

My ass and my ball will never be the same ever again,

My aches and pains are still there and with me they’ve lingered,

I now know how it feel’s to be invaded and fingered,

A new female doctor found cancer some months down the line,

I have it on good authority that my love making is now fine,

If you’re a man and you’re asked to put your knee to your chest,

Keep a watch out behind you if you know what is best.

Missed that boat

On the titanic to America Delia was to float,

But yeomen proposed and she missed that boat,

Her life was to work as a rich family’s nanny,

She avoided the fate of those lost to many,

Her man proposed on her day to depart,

Hoping with her a new life to start,

While rushing home to her family on this for her joyous day,

Was it god’s hand or yeomen’s which bid her to delay?

And while missing that boat on its maiden voyage it sailed,

No one on earth knew what that trip entailed,

So many lives lost in one fell swoop,

And Delia sat crying with her man on their stoop,

Happy with her man now that she didn’t emigrate,

Yet feeling the loss of those who succumbed to their fate,

It just wasn’t meant to be for my life to be lost,

As she told us the story of how much the ticket cost,

I was meant to be here for more then my young years,

In a time when we had nothing but woes and fears,

It’s been hard being a mother a granny and a wife,

But I am forever grateful that I have lived my long life,

I am thankful for the little things that have come my way,

And the family god gave me while allowing me to stay,

My belief is that somewhere down the road I’ll be fine,

And when the lord wants me it will be in his own good time,

I pray every day as I rise from my bed,

For all on that ship in the sea that lay dead,

1912 is the year that I was given a choice,

Dead at sea but for the sound of your grandad’s voice,

The lord put that marriage proposal into his mouth,

And put the answer in mine my reply was a shout,

But think dear child as in your bed you warm lay,

Had I refused there would be none of you all here today,

That’s why you see the titanic in a frame on that wall,

Sat next to my saviour the saint pope john Paul,

As I pray to him for the titanic lost souls,

With my gift of a family he fulfilled all my goals,

Long before I knew where my life was to be spent,

The answer to my prayers was from heaven sent,

In the form of a small yet very wise young lad,

When he proposed he became your very own granddad,

Munster Rugby by Christy O'Donnell.Limerick Poet & Writer.

Munster Titans

We are blessed here in our fair Limerick City,

With the best rugby team along with poets that are witty,

Munster’s home of rugby is the new Thomond Park ground,

Where our newest treasure Keith Earls was found,

Like lightening from end to end he can be seen,

All with the support of our Munster team,

O’Gara with ball firmly planted in the old sod,

Conversion for sure with his boot sent from god,

Most teams arrive here but go home in a daze,

Having been rammed by Botha and our own bull John Hayes,

Flannery with a throw in straight and true,

Grasping hands and the ball is stuck to them like glue,

O’Connell O' Callaghan in the lineout for height,

Grabbing the ball from thin air with all of their might,

Wallace through the middle with Mafi from the side,

No fear shown here this team will not hide,

With Ronan, Holland ,Gleeson ,Barnes and Dineen,

Hurley ,Fogarty, Murphy all plainly seen,

Horan, O’Driscoll and Howelett taking hit after hit,

Supported by Ryan ,O’ Leary and Varley all fit,

A push for the line with Zebo and Stringer,

Over they go with huge effort a try a humdinger,

Throughout this team and having named but a few,

The future of Munster rugby looks solid and true,

With O’Mahony our newest to sharpen his skill,

And Holland ,Foley and Payne feeding his will,

Working stoutly behind the scenes to help keep up the good fight,

Mcgahan’s team pushing to get everything just right,

Supporters in the stands all cheering come on,

As a game hangs by a point nearly gone,

Heave Munster for Thomond Park will never let you down,

One last effort from O’Gara as the ball is sent towards town,

As it heads between the posts the final whistle ends the play,

Those Munster Titans yet again have won and saved the day,

Thomand park the home of Munster rugby here in Limerick City,

All who come to play here will not get any pity,

This is our home and you will find us one and all unforgiving,

To all who want to beat us no 1/4 asked and none will be given.
